Virocid is an ultra-concentrated disinfectant based on quaternary ammonium, glutaraldehyde, and isopropanol.
It has proven its effectiveness in preventing and treating major diseases over several years: foot-and-mouth disease, flu, bovine enterovirus, mycoplasmas, diarrhea, brucellosis,…
Virocid is the ideal partner for controlling foodborne zoonoses such as campylobacter, E. Coli, and salmonella.
Virocid can be applied in various ways, without the addition of additives:
**Surface, floor, wall, and drinking trough disinfection**:
• Dosage: 1%
• Contact time: 15 min
• By spraying, foam lance, or low pressure.
**Ambient disinfection**:
• Dosage: 0.75L per 1000m² in 4L of water
• Contact time: 15 min
• By thermal fogging, desired duration = 1 hour
**Human footbath**:
• Dosage: 0.5%
• Contact time: 15 min
**Animal footbath**:
• Dosage: 1.5%
• Contact time: 15 min
**Disinfectant used in private and public health sectors**:
• Dosage: 0.25-0.5%
• Contact time: 15 min
• By spraying, foam lance, or low pressure.
