Keno™test allows for the rapid detection of subclinical mastitis (CMT method). It detects the presence of a large number of somatic cells in the milk. To be used with the detection plate and the automatic dosing pump.
• Discard the first 3 streams of milk that contain bacteria present in the duct.
• Put the equivalent of 2ml of milk in the cup. One cup corresponds to one quarter.
• Discard the excess milk.
• Add 2ml of Keno™test to each cup using the pump.
• Shake the palette in a circular motion for about 15 seconds.
• After 30 seconds, compare the appearance of each mixture with the table and determine the cell count range in which the milk of each quarter falls.
• Discard the liquid, clean the palette with water, and dry it properly before the next use.
